GemsGem, that face melts me every time I look at her! Makes it so hard to leave for work!
My mother and I adopted Lou from the Auckland (New Zealand) SPCA when she was a kitten. My last cat Inky had passed away about a year previously so Mum and I thought it was time to have a new fur baby in our lives. She's definitely one of the strangest cats I've owned! She likes to stop-drop-and-roll and has a fondness for sitting on or in anything plastic. She's a very talkative kitty and we will often have lengthy discussions (usually around meal time).
Recently it became unsuitable for her to continue staying at our family home, so I moved her into my flat. It's been amazing! I have always had cats growing up but have never been the caretaker in chief. It's so wonderful to come home to a purry furry housemate. Now I want another one! Not sure if my flatmates would oblige though...
