Just found blood on the floor and one of our cats foot has been bleeding. Its near her nail. It has clotted and is dry. It looks like the nail is still attached. What should i use to clean it if anything I dont want it to start bleeding again.  Of course these things happen at night/on weekends :(. I dont know how it happen. There was blood in the box she was laying in.

Since it's dried, I'd leave it alone.  However, she'll probably start licking it and it might start bleeding again.  Just do what you'd do for a human, apply pressure with a cloth.  Keep an eye on it and if it looks red, angry, and swollen get her to an emergency vet OR call your vet's # and listen for the message on what to do in an emergency.  She'll probably be okay til Monday, but get her into the vet ASAP.
