He lives about 1879 miles away from me.
Him and my youngest grandson live with their dad and mom in Traverse City, Michigan.
He looks like a handsome young man

His family lives quite far away from you, how often do you get to see them?
Just out of curiousity, when families live that far away, within the US, do they more often fly to meet, or do they drive?

Hi Pollyanna! Usually when families live that far apart they have to fly to visit. And it can be as expensive as traveling out of the country! Sometimes more expensive.
It seems when I have the money, I can't get away from work and when I have the time, I don't have the money. Actually, I was going to drive there this past August but then my car engine pooped out on me in July. It's been 2 years since I've seen him and his brother. Matthew is 6 and his brother is 3. At least I talk to them on the phone all the time.
That is so frustratin, not to be able to go when you can afford it and not affording it when you are able to go...
2 years is a very long time, not to see the grandchildren, they grow and change so fast. You have all my sympathy for not beeing able to spent more time with them!
