Start off by asking a vet. Do not give your cat human medicine   . I dont know much about even human fevers, but I think the most logical thing to  do is make sure Mojo has a large intake of water. This will help to cool him down. About the anger and depression, im not sure; has he been like this before? or is it just because of the fever. A proffessional should be on soon to give you more advice

I agree that Mojo needs to see a vet. His fever may be due to an infection which may need antibiotics. His behavior may be a sign of pain. How long has he had the fever?

She's never been like this before and I don't think she's sick because she's eating. She has had it all day but I'm giving her lots of water and she seems to be getting better. Her nose was dry and hot and she's about 6 so I'm going to watch her and see if it persists before taking her to a vet. Thanks again.

She *IS* sick because she has a fever and her anger is masking some kind of pain.  Also, the depression, or lethargy is another sign that she's not well. The BEST thing you can do for her is to get her to the vet for a thorough check up and diagnosis.  Just because she's eating doesn't mean she's not sick.  Any change in behavior is a sign that something's not right.

I have never heard of arthritis causing a fever, unless there is some kind of systemic inflammatory or infectious response going on, in which case a vet visit is in order.

Only a vet can help figure out what may be going on with Mojo and treat him appropriately.

Best thing for now is to check a vet ! It might be some minor issue but just to be sure!

She is doing okay her fever went away and she's feeling much better! I talked to a vet friend who said it was just a fever due to stress because we just moved so she's getting better as the stress goes away. :) thank you all for your concern.

Glad to hear she's improving.  Keep an eye on her, though.  Don't want a relapse.
