So 64 threw up today, I think she eats to fast...I talked to VET and she says it's nothing to worry about inless it happens a lot. I had been gone all day at work 9 1/2 hours and I came home and put her lysine in her soft cat food as soon as she ate ( fast ) she threw up.....I get so worried, cause she does have herpes ....what do you guys thin ?

It could be from eating too fast. If she regurgitated her food right after eating, that is very likely. It also could be that if she isn't used to going that long without eating, she may have had some excess stomach acid build up. As long as she is eating normally after vomiting and also eliminating and playing/behaving normally, I would just keep an eye on her and try not to worry too much. :) How is cute 64 doing these days otherwise?

If she vomits again or starts behaving abnormally, then I would start worrying and making a vet appointment.

Oh, and if she always eats too fast, you can try smushing her food down in her bowl, sort of spread out so that she has to work a little harder to get it all. You can also give her half her food, wait a few minutes and then give her the rest.
