shell I'm sorry if I was snappy. it is 3am here, but I'm guessing it's about 5pm there? if so...it would be VERY good if you make yourself a nice drink or dinner and try to relax a little while (???insert name here) is at the vet. When do you pick her up? Just asking...you have catwoman here and I need to sleep so I can get up by noon.
Goodnite and please try and do something to forget about this for a little while...cleaning helps me...

Thanks so much for everything catwoman and others. I really appreciate it. I'll take her to the other vets and get her blood checked, less I know I have done everything I can to save her..

@mycatwasthebest  , thank you for your very kind and generous compliment :)

@Quiet  in reality, you just might have something there.

I don't know the time difference in Australia, but in California it is 1:12 in the morning, but no way can I lay down now, this is important time-wise I believe, I also want to comment once more, some of that fluid NEEDS to come out very soon, or new issues can happen suddenly. It is way too much for her organs to handle this overload, and she is extremely bloated now.

So what I'm getting at about the time diff here is because I know things will be happening tmrw for kitty girl :)

Transferring her to another vet for instance.

But quiet's comment rings a bell.

I have UC Davis Medical Veterinary teaching school near me.

Teaching schools have veterinarians who are good enough to be teaching people to become doctors, and are very educated and wise.

They have experts in everything imaginable.

So UC Davis, as well as most other schools like this, will actually take pets with rarely seen problems, and will use them to educate, free of charge.

They are normally highly interested in rare cases too. This IS most definitely, not common.

I have no idea at all if there is a veterinary teaching school anywhere around you, but if so, it is most definitely an excellent option to explore.

Obviously time is of the essence here, but if you got right on it, at least you can be told if they will take her case or not.

I love that, just a bunch of cat lovers :) But that is what we are here for, to offer help and support when you need it.

I know what shocking news this is for you, and I don't know enough about what testing has been done on the fluid, or what has been done or not done yet, so until we hear new developments, all we can do is send endless positive vibes and loads of hugs.

Then we take it from there :)

What a beautiful baby your little Bells is. I am so keeping you both in my thoughts. You are being the best mommy you can be for her and doing all you can. We are all hoping the best for you. What a sweet little kitty and she loves her brother so much.
