Obviously I have...

I bought some software this morning.. the kind that comes in a box.

This evening I decided to install it, but it was gone!.. I searched everywhere..  the table.. my bag..   by my computer..

In a fit of pique I decided to keep searching after I'd made dinner..

And there it was, on top of the blueberry yoghurt in the fridge.

Coldsoftware, anyone?

Anyone else want to own up to a bad case of silliness?

oh Canada~
lol!

Yesterday our CO2 detector started going off shortly after I got out of the shower, and I thought if others' alarms were going off too, I didn't want to have to evacuate naked so I made a mad dash to put a night gown on while my boyfriend tried to reset the alarm (our alarm is busted, the on/off switch doesn't work. fortunately it wasn't an emergency, but we need to take that piece of junk to the rental office today). After we calmed down and got the alarm to quiet, my boyfriend was smirking at me. I touched the front of my collar, and my night gown was on backwards, and inside out. He kept mocking me, "OHHH I DON'T WANT TO LOOK RIDICULOUS IF FIREFIGHTERS HAVE TO COME GET US OUT. I DON'T WANT TO FEEL STUPID."

It happens more than I'd like to admit. XD

I had bought some of the plackers type dental floss:

http://orbisdistribution.com/products/buyplackers.html

Earlier in the week I thought I'd give them a try. They got caught in my dental work. It didn't want to pull it out too hard as it felt like it would pop my crown off. I was running around the house looking for scissors, with it sticking out of my mouth and drool running down my chin. Aaron was laughing too hard to help.

After buying groceries, I was looking for my block of sharp cheese to make piemento cheese. I found it in the freezer on top of the ice cream

You have no idea how much better this is making me feel..

And @pinkdagger and @AbbysMom, don't you just wish these things didn't happen when 'the man's' around?  Dorky behaviour just makes their day.

@blueyedgirl5946, at least is was food

Well.

This just happened yesterday, but I had to bring my cat to the semi-emergency vet. I had forgotten that just before I was heating up pizza in the oven. So I came home to find my landlady and a couple of neighbors hanging around outside my unit with the door wide open. Someone smelled the smoke wafting from the open window. Thank goodness there fire department was not involved.

Thanks, he's doing okay, aside from sneezing. It was an episode of constipation (found blood in his stool), so I'm switching him out of his current batch of food and giving him acacia fiber.

Last night, I made a milkshake and I almost put the milk in the freezer and the ice cream in the fridge. Thankfully, I caught myself before I actually did.

You can just pull it gently out through the tooth without the risk of breaking anything.

Are you sure he doesn't just have hemorrhoids?
I'm having a lot of problems at the moment with a lot of blood.

Looking for glasses that were on the top of my head.
Looking hysterically for my wallet and being told by a sort of gang member that 'it's under your chin lady'!!!!
And the worse - walking down the road dressed very smartly either a coat hanger hanging on to the belt of whatever it was I was wearing.
It took some time for somebody to tell me. This was still in England.

Does looking for my keys while they are dangling from my little finger count?
I've done that! More than once.

I've searched for my cell phone while I was talking to my sister, too. On the phone. Didn't even realize it until she asked what the heck I was looking for and I said, "My phone! I can't find my.......oh good grief" because by that time, she was laughing hysterically. There are days when I should have been born a blonde (and I mean that in the nicest way possible).

Tonight, I put sour cream on my hamburger by accident (meant to put mayo). I put some on my spoon and meant to put it on my baked potato, but I accidentally put it on my burger, spread it and added ketchup and pickle.
I didn't notice until my husband asked where the mayo spoon was and I realized I hadn't grabbed the mayo. Good thing it tasted ok.

It actually sounds OK..

When I was a little girl I spread mustard all over bread thinking it was peanut butter!  I was a guest and felt terribly embarrassed once I realised what I had done, so I ate it all!

I haven't been able to even look at mustard since.
