The last few days, I've noticed my kitten has been producing a milky discharge around her eyes. Beyond that, she's been acting perfectly normal. Eating, drinking, sleeping, using the bathroom, she's even making it a little hard to type right now because she's in my lap, trying to pounce my fingers whenever they hit the keys, so there's no signs of lethargy. I won't have the funds to go to the vet for at least another week, but I'm wondering if this is something i can take care of at home since it doesn't seem to be affecting her behavior beyond how much she grooms her face.

Sorry you didn't get a reply to this. How is she doing now? I haven't had any issues with my kitten's eyes, so I'm not sure what it could be.

There hasn't really been any change. I've been washing her face two or three times daily to keep the gunk off of her face, but it doesn't seem to be interfering with her ability to open and close her eyes, and there isn't any sign of them being inflamed or blood shot. She's due for her next set of shots soon, so I'm going to ask about it when I take her to the vet next.

The weird thing is that her eyes only seem to weep like this when she sleeps. I'll wash her face, and she'll be fine. As long as she's up and playing and awake, it doesn't come back, but the second she takes a nap, it builds right back up.
