Awhile ago I calculated how many cups was in a lb of dry cat and dog food and 4 out of the 5 different types of dry I calculated with cam up to 4.4 cups in a lb so if you have 10lbs of dog or cat food there will be approximately 44 cups in it and if the cat or dog eats a cup a day it will last approximately 44 days so if you want to but just one month worth of cat food or dog food and they eat around a cup a day they would need 7lbs of dry a month each pet if you go buy the 1 cup measurement now if the cat or dog eats like a 1/2 cup dry they would need around 3.5 lbs a month of dry and if they eat more then a cup like example 3 cups a day each 21lbs of dry it can go for multi cat or dog households so if you have like 10 cats to feed and you go by the 1 cup measurement rule you need 70lbs of dry a month and I did test my measurements I had a 2 20lb bags of dry cat food and I scooped out about 89 cups in each bag forgot the accurate number I counted lol I hope me posting this helps you guys figure out how much dry food you need a month for both cats and dogs.

note kibble weight and kibble size will vary the lbs and cups amount in each bag.

if i posted this in the wrong forum please move it.

What Brand? And I did mention the kibble weight and size will effect the amount of cups in lbs in the dry bags.

Your brand is around 3.95 cups of dry in a lb
