Vaccines

Not sure where else I could've put this......

Well my little guy is going to need shots pretty soon.  The thing is he hasn't had any since he was a kitten, he's now 7 year old. He's strictly indoors and has never gotten out.

Pretty sure I have to get rabies as it's required by law here. I'm not sure what else he should get. I only want to give him what's needed, not every single shot they offer. Eek!

Also, should I get these done BEFORE I take him in to get his teath cleaned?

If your cat does need any vaccines, and if you read that link, it's doubtful he needs any unless required by law, and your vet is a stickler about indoor only cats still needing them, I would only give if completely healthy. If possible, I would also give them away from any other procedures.

The problem of not having him vaccinated is that when he goes to get his teeth cleaned he could possibly be exposed to all kinds of diseases, after all, it is a vets!

He's had his kitten shots, so he most likely has immunity. You could have a titer test run to be sure.
