My two Siamese cats mated and now she's pregnant. She doesn't go outside so she can only mate with him and only him. Her belly has been feeling more hard and round for a long time but just recently her nipples turned pink and red. Getting bigger everyday. She's been acting extra loving for awhile now but only now did the nipples turn red and large 4 days ago. How many kittens can she(2 year old female) have only mating with ONE cat (6-7 month old male)??? Also how far along is she?

Depends how many times he did it.  Penetration stimulates egg release, and the number of subsequent goes will mean more kittens...

And it still sounds like he's trying while she is pregnant.. When does the time cut off for him to not make more

Hey guys I'm new to the thread! I have a few questions:
I have a pregnant 2 year old Siamese who mated with a 6 month old Siamese. Her nipples just turned pink and red 4-5 days ago and belly feels hard. How many kittens can she have mating with just ONE male as she doesn't go outside.
-how far along is she?
-does she need any special treatment being pregnant?

Thanks!

One male can give them as many kittens as several males could, it depends on how fertile both of them are and how many times they mated. First litters are usually not very large, is it her first? Do you know when she was mated and what the due date is? First off you must start feeding her well, food that is labeled kitten food is good for the extra calories and nutrition.

Please consider having her spayed, there are SO many kittens at the shelter that need homes and it would stop the annoying heat cycles. Remember too, she can get pregnant again almost as soon as the kittens are born! It's so hard on them to give birth and take care of kittens, and your male will start spraying!

It really doesnt cut off.   They  can even get two different litters simultaneously,  three-four weeks apart, and both delivered healthy...

So do separate them if he is keeping with such.

If you arent a breeder, please also do neuter him when you can.   And her when she has weaned the kittens, typically at about 8 weeks.

They may still be home, but dont need her milk as a necessity.

How many? we really cant know if we dont palpate them thoroughly, or such...

Good luck!

Yeah I know I was told she was fixed when I got them and I guess that wasn't true! This is her first time being pregnant. I plan on keeping the kittens. I love my cat like my daughter so those babies are going to be loved. Thanks so much!

The "normal" amount for cats is 4. First litters are frequently smaller or larger, some breeds (I think Siamese are one of them!) have larger litters, and. . .really, there's just no way to tell. If you want to know in advance you can have the vet do an ultrasound when she's far enough along.

Hi
I can't tell if it's babies moving or gas? I can hear it and feel it. It sounds like bubbles but I can feel it. It's a lot. How does it normally sound? No milk yet and I don't think her belly is huge??? Help

Do you know how far along she is? The babies don't usually visibly 'move' until just a few weeks before. Sometimes the milk doesn't come in until at birthing time. Look further through the Pregnant cat and kitten site where you posted, you'll find lots of advise, and some are birthing as we speak and could give you better advise then me. Good luck!

Yep when Lola's kittens first started moving I could hear lots of "bubble" sounds too, now they are just enormous rolls and antics going on in there

Hi everyone
My cat is about 7-8 weeks pregnant (I'm guessing) and I noticed the last few days there's a dark brown hardened discharge on her butt area. I made her prego appointment at the vet already for the check up as they are closed today! So I'm just worried. Is dark dried up discharge normal? It's not a lot. Thanks
She's extra EXTRA affectionate.

Good luck!

I can't say for sure if the brown color of the dicharge on your cat's rear indicates a problem or not, since she is not actually having a discharge of any liquid.  When she expels the mucus plug in preparation for birth, the liqui is usually white or creamy in color if you ever see it. Usually she cleans herself right up.  Since you have a vet appointment already, you should relax for now.  She isn't in danger at this point and the vet will be able to see her tomorrow.

We have a good collection of articles in the Cat Health section which you can access by scrolling up to the brown bar, clicking on Articles, and then choosing the Cat Health section and scrolling through the choices.  To make this super easy for you, I am copying the links in here. The article on "How Do I Know When My Cat Will Give Birth" will probably give you a lot of the information you need right now, and then you can read about preparations for the birth etc.  Best of luck with your approaching litter.

Thanks so much! Yeah it's definitely not wet, pus, or liquid in form. Just hard and brown.

Thanks a lot

She's been acting different lately.. She's still eating a lot but she has been acting quite uncomfortable. Her belly is so hard and so big. She's been cleaning her body a lot but not her private area. No milk in the nipples yet either. I feel like it's getting close but without milk and no appetite, I feel maybe I'm just excited? She's definitely got an appetite. Lol

(Still trying to figure this site out! Sorry if i'm posting in the wrong spots still!)
She lays around the room in different spots. Changes position or location every hour. She FINALLY got an interest to her nesting box and started to dig and scratch around inside. She goes in only for about 2 minutes and comes back out. Her belly is SO hard and big. She's extra affectionate and purrs a lot. Definitely feed the kitties moving. She is still eating though. What do you think? I'm nervous!
Shes in a separate room of the house where I stay in with her.

Thanks!

@BerbDCat  Thanks for asking!! I still don't see any symptoms yet.. It's a frustrating waiting game lol. I've been so anxious sleeping on an air mattress for a week now with her in a separate room. I haven't seen much nesting. The only thing she is doing is cleaning her belly. I took her temp last night around 10 and it was 99.0 ... today it was 99.6. Not sure what to think anymore. :(
