I noticed tonight that my cat has what i have seen others call cat acne. Black flecks under her chin. Caused by plastic bowls. There food dishes are ceamic but there water dish is the drinkwell plastic one.
What do you do for the acne?

Ask your vet for bactroban. This is an ointment against staph infections. Clean off the crust then apply the bactroban once a day. Get rid of those plastic bowls!!!

Yes, plastic food bowls are a biggy, but I haven't heard of problems with water bowls...that's not to say they don't have any.

Allergies can play a part.  Did you see this article?

Yes same water dish and never had a problem before with many cats. The food bowls are ceramic and get washed in the dishwasher. pretty sure only one cat has the problem.

How frequently do they get washed? I was advised to use bleach to wash my bowls for our one cat's chin acne. In our case, it wasn't severe (just crusty), so we were told by our vet to just get acne wipes and wipe his chin twice a day, so I do so after meal times (but with a very diluted mix of hydrogen peroxide and water). If they're just flecks, you can probably just use a paper towel and some warm water to keep the area clean.

You can wash the chin with antibacterial soap. That's what my vet had me do when my Petie got acne.
No matter what they say it is contagious. Two more
of my felines ended up the same week with it.

Untreated it can become infected, and I had a cat get it, possibly stress induced even though ALL the bowls were ceramic.  I would see your vet.

Well she could be stressed. We have an almost 1yr old kitten that doesnt leave her alone.

I checked another cat and no flakes but his chin looks red. What color should their skin be? Ive never really looked before.

My older cat got acne/infected chin within 2 months of us bringing a new cat into the home and our older cat was stressed out.  So not only did we work on the chin, but we worked on de-stressing our older cat an in time, the chin got better and the 2 became good friends :)

I got some stridex pads. But is it ok if you get it on their mouth? I am worried about them licking it.

I wouldn't let it get near their lips. There's some pretty nasty tasting stuff in those pads, and they're no good to ingest. I find it often occurs lower on the chin so you can avoid having them ingest it. If you're concerned it's too close to their lips, just use a moist paper towel or cloth on that area.
