It just happened to my cat, Miss Chiff.  3 kittens arrived 9 days ago and two more last night, the two new ones are about the same size as the survivor of the first litter.  I was dumbfounded to find two more kittens so late in the process.

Of the two new kittens, one was dead when I found them but the other one is doing very well and is almost the same size as the kitten born 9 days before.

The mother cat is very young, probably only 7 months old so I did not know if she would know what to do but the mothering instinct has kicked in and both kittens are quite plump and noisy as of today and they are both little tom cats, Mr. Johnny Reb and Mr. Tuxedo and they are both very cute at this age.

Seems to be two different litters.  Unusual but not unique.  Most often they are about 3 weeks apart, this making it easier to know they ARE two different litters, not just one somewhat premature and one somewhat late...

Like in your example, with a little luck everybody can be healthy and well.

And if unlucky, some arent alive and well... But such can happen in almost every litter.

Good luck!
