HI everyone...those of you familiar with my constant posting know i started here when my baby Georgie dies suddenly and very unexpectedly and again most recently when i had to re home all of my precious babies :(

but today i have a question..i do have another kitten that has similar problems Georgie had starting and stopping with the weak hind legs..she is fully capable of using them but she is very unsteady on them and does fall over and drag herself about when she wants to get from point a to point b in a flash LoL...no other heath concerns she eats great, drinks great ,poops & pee's good but all over as she has never even tried to use the litter box, plays all the time, sleeps well, bathes herself properly...she has absolutely zero pain in her back or hind legs nothing feels out of place ..i thought it might be CH but ive seen other ch kitties its not the same...she has no head tremors no other walking problems..when she does use her legs which is more and more the older she gets she sways on her feet...any idea of what it could be at all? I am taking her to the vet very soon im waiting on funds..just trying to figure out what it could be...she is about 4-5 months old..i dont know how to load pics and video here otherwise i could have you all have a look :).

I really don't have any idea what is going on with your kitten.  She really needs to be seen by a vet.  At  4 or 5 months she shouldn't be having these issues with motor skills and she should be able to use the litter box.  It sounds neurological in nature but only a vet would be able to make a diagnoses.

My first thought is CH. It greatly varies from cat to cat, also as they age they seem to get better and better at controlling it and getting around.

I've rescued some who were mildly clumsy with their back legs at jumping, I had one lone kitten who couldn't walk at all until about 3 months, and had adults, one was mild, one was shaking her head and all of it.

I agree.  CH does vary greatly from cat to cat; that was my first thought when I read your description.  I'm not sure what else it could be.  Have you watched youtube videos of CH kitties to see the similarities or differences?

I've been reading about possible causes for symptoms in one of my foster cats, and I ran across this info about feline diabetes.  I was reminded of your kitten and thought you might find it interesting.  I have no experience with feline diabetes, but this did sound familiar enough that it might be worth doing a blood sugar test on your kitty.

The signs of feline diabetic neuropathy may also be the first indications to a cat owner that his or her pet has a serious health problem  since the initial signs of diabetes can be easily overlooked.

The first indication that your cat has diabetic neuropathy may be her inability to stand correctly. Instead of standing on her toes as cats normally do, a cat with diabetic neuropathy stands on her hocks. The lower parts of her back legs will lie on the ground as she stands. She will also develop weakness in her hind legs and may drag a leg or paw as she walks. Her feet can slip out from under her as she walks, or she may have difficulty rising from a lying or sitting position. She may lie down more frequently that she used to, especially after taking short walks
