Hello all!
I have noticed for quite a few months, that my kitty's nose drips clear liquid. Sometimes the drops are huge, sometimes not. They are always clear. Sometimes I can't tell if she is drooling or not, because after a good scratch session, a spot on where ever she is sitting, will be soaked. I have mentioned this to two different vets, when she was in for other reasons. They never seemed concerned, so I was not. Now I am more curious as to why this happens. She has not always done this!
Background details: 8 years old, fixed, missing a lot of teeth, but just had them cleaned and one pulled back in November. Does not sneeze a lot, eats like a champ ( too much actually!!). She acts just as normal as ever. When she shakes her head, OMG look out, you will get a shower of snot.. or drool. But, again, it is always clear! I hear nothing but good sounds when she breathes (although I do hear her snore, again, she is overweight, I am aware, I have been slowly cutting her food down).
If there is any more info you need please let me know. I just want to know why my cats nose is a faucet, can I help her stop, even though she doesn't seem to mind in the slightest. It would be nice though to give her a good massage and not get a drool/snot spot on me haha.
Thanks a bunch!!
