Hi! I badly need advice on how to deal with this cute kitten I recently picked off the streets a few days ago. I found her on a sidewalk on my way home and now my boyfriend and I are taking care of her. She refuses to feed from the bottle and keeps on looking around my apartment for her mother. I am currently asking my friends if they know someone who has a mother cat but as of the moment I would like to solve this issue on my own and help the poor little kitty. Aaand I'm feeling like I don't want to let go of her yet so please please please help me out

Well, how developed is she? Do you have any pictures? My guess is, if she's mobile enough to look around the apartment for her mother, she is probably too old for a bottle. Does she have teeth? If so, give her canned kitten food (Fancy Feast a kitten version), and if she seems to have trouble eating that, you can mix a little kitten formula in to make it soupy.

Hi

Not sure if this is good advice or not--worked with our feral kittens(who are now ex.feral super kittens---lol)

Try Gerbers #2 baby food,Chicken and chicken gravy---we feed a bottle to our kittens each day till they would tackle pate type food

@notsosupertina   how is it going??   We need reports so we dont worry too much!

You got good advices, if she is old enough to eat.

Otherwise, quite a few kittens dont like / understand bottle at first, must by tried several times.

And if they are really tiny or weak, its much easier to begin with a dropper, or such a  feeding syringe.

Tx for caring!

Good luck!

Hi! I left her now with my boyfriend's mom because I have nobody else to care for her in the apartment while I'm away. We already got the feeding problem partially resolved now because I found out that wrapping her with a warm towel and feeding her with an eyedropper works fine with her. I'll get back with more updates once I see her this weekend. I already miss her now :(
