ALERT

If you already have a thread open, please continue to post about your cat, her pregnancy or her kittens there rather than continuing to post in this thread.

If you don't have a thread, please start your own thread and continue to post there about your cat. It will be easier for members to follow the progress of your cat if you have your own thread.

This thread is just asking who has pregnant cat ready to deliver in a week.

I had to move another kitten back onto the fleece when it dropped off her as she was going to get her dinner. I hope she will move them, or I may have to in a few days, to a box so they won't wander off the fleece. She doesn't seem bothered when one lies there on the concrete and mews while she is eating and will walk past it to the bed. I hope that will stop soon.

So Lola woke me at 1.30, doing a strange little meow, not quite a pain sounding meow, this morning have seen one big contraction wave throughout her body....ooooohhhh, please let it be today!

Hi, please do continue to post updates on here, think advisors just want to ensure any other posts you put on other threads are updated too (I was a bit put out too when I saw the alert but realise now they just want to make sure people checking other threads are kept up to date) am excited for all our updates

Yes, this is sort of the idea. Let me see if I can explain this a bit more. While it's fine to chat in this thread and for all of you first time nervous pregnant cat owners to give each other support, we really do ask that if you post updates, questions, etc. in your own thread. Our Advisors and experienced members will most likely not be reading this thread. This forum gets a bit overwhelming this time of year and our focus is to help as many members and cats as we can, but we do need to maintain a bit of order.

You should all read this thread which explains our reasoning a bit more:

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/275780/just-a-note-about-posting-in-the-pregnant-cats-and-kittens-forum

Thanks for your understanding. :)

Me too Chaucer!  Lola had a few contractions today and had a look on her face as if pushing but that was earlier on and for last few hours just pottering around...come on!

Henryetta would just stop where she was for a moment and then just go right on eating or playing or rubbing around my feet. I was told that a little playing might get things going.

I know what you mean, LolaSky.  Henryetta didn't really go off her food but she ate less of it.  Of course now she is eating like a little pig. Well, it's what 8 or 9 in the UK, so maybe you will wake up tomorrow and have kittens.  Henryetta mated between September 27-29 and she had hers on May 1. I saw her mating and my painters heard it the day before that, but I just can't remember the exact days, but it was during that time. Do you know what the father looks like?

Just gone 10pm here now, she just mooching around...would love to wake up to babies!  A couple of likely culprits for daddy, will wait and see what colours come out

Henryetta did that too.  No real indication that she was in, or was going into, labor. She started mussing up the various birthing places, except the one she used.  Looking forward to LolaSky's kittens! Love black kitties!

And I meant February 27-28, not September 27-29 (must be because I know people born on those dates!)
