I have had three cats in my life but none for some 30 years.  I've wanted a cat all that time but due to my wife's allergies have not been able to have one.  I've now discovered Siberian Cats and my wife suffers no effects at all, happy days......  I don't yet have her but pick her up in 3 weeks time, cannot wait.  The photo shows her at 3 weeks old.  I am currently 'Catifying' my house, does anyone have any good suggestions for this?  I do have experience of living with cats but it's so long ago.  The breeder says beware of my kitten chewing cables, I don't remember this being a problem, does anyone have experience of this?

Welcome to the site
  Your kitten is beautiful
congratulations on finally finding a good kitty fit for your family.

As to the cord chewing, thankfully l've never had to face it so l have no firsthand experience. However, l've read that some people have used citrus scented spray on their cords to deter chewing. Also there are cord coverings on the market that are chew-proof.

Hi, welcome to TCS!  That is one adorable kitten!  Congratulations to you and your wife.  Have you chosen a name yet?

Bitter Apple is a good repellent you can spray on cords or you can get tube like cord protectors from electronics stores.
