I'm fostering 4 kittens the three are about 4 1/2 weeks old and the one is about 3 1/2-4 weeks old. I got them 2 weeks ago and all were doing great gaining and eating like crazy from the bottle. The three older ones I've been starting to ween and they like wet royal canin baby cat food but are still half on a bottle.

Weezy the litte one is still only on a bottle. She was fine yesterday then when i went to go feed her her dinner meal she sounded like she had fluid in her lungs. She didn't want to eat her dinner and her stomach looked really bloated. She sneezed and formula came out. I'm thinking asperation. I did an xray and nothing showed up and the vet said just keep an eye on her. I'm bringing her back today for a recheck.

She seems a little better than yesterday not as fluid sounding but shes still sneezing and doesn't really want to eat much. She did eat a little but then she sounds congested.

Like I said I'm on the way back to the vet to have her checked  just wanted some advise if anyone has delt with this. I've raised many litters and never had one asperate. Mojo for Weezy is greatly appreciated.

Oh and her name was Weezy before this started LOL!

So the vet feels she injested formula to fast and is irritated making her sinus passages congested. He didn't hear any fluid in her lungs. She will open mouth breath after eating but then will settle down and be fine. He told me to do saline drops in her nose. I'm also giving her pedialight to make sure shes getting enough fluids. I sperated her from the others because they wanted to play with ther. I also am syringing her some chicken baby food slurry with some of the pedialight so its like a formula and she will suckle it from the bottle. Shes just not eating much all at once so I let her drink and I've been feedig her every hour or two.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Shes on a heating pad as well to keep her warm. Please send more mojo.
