I found myself here while trying to find a place where I can talk about my cat. I knew there had to be some fellow cat lovers and I do believe I've found the right community. 
Hello everyone. I'm Rebecca and this is my cat Jaeger.

We met when I was searching for a cat while at The Dumb Friends League in Denver.
When she clearly said "No" to one of the women who worked at the shelter (as the woman attempted to put Jaeger back in the carrier), I knew she was a keeper.
She's the only cat that I have. I've been wanting to get her a kitten but was told she doesn't like other cats very well. She's so alpha and over the years I've had her, she has become quite attached to me.
So, now I just consider myself.. 10 cats short of being a cat lady.
Her name? Well, she had that name when I got her. At first I thought she was named after the alcohol, most people think so whenever I mention it. However, after really getting to know her, I feel she was named after being a great hunter. She loves to hunt flies and other insects. I consider the moth to be her very favorite toy. She'll play with one til she kills it then she cries to me, wanting me to fix it so it'll fly around some more.
Well, I could go on and on..
