I am not sure which kitten threw up their meal this morning but someone left quite the pile on the floor.

This morning I fed them both their regular morning meal consisting of 1 primal raw nugget and half a 3oz can of wet food each. The wet food is grain free and they have been eating the same food for a while without any issues before. The throw up looked like it was digested, their was no whole bits of food in it at all, just a big puff of cat puke like pate consistency and beige in color. (sorry for the details.)

What could cause this and should I be concerned?
Both kittens look pretty good and are acting normal, stool is normal too. This has never happened before like this anyway, and in the case of throw up, I have only ever seen hairballs occasionally.  I have know idea what caused this upset, but I hope everything is okay.

As everyone knows, Simon has allergies of unknown causes, but I don't know if it was him that got sick. Just hope no one throws up their evening meals.

Since you aren't sure which one did it, and they are both acting normal, I would not start panicking just yet.  Sometimes these things just happen
.  If it continues, then you need to try to figure out which one it is and take that one in to be checked.

In the  meantime,do you give them probiotics since you are feeding them some raw?  If not, maybe try giving them some yogurt with live cultures, if you don't have any probiotics on hand.

Oh, BTW, perhaps was it a new package of Primal?  I got new frozen Primal Beef and Salmon and Chicken and Salmon, and NONE of mine will touch it!  Makes me so mad because I didn't open the packages timely, and now I can't return them (14 day return policy), so I'm out the money, but I'm thinking Primal must have changed their formula or something.  This happened to me around the end of last year but I've still got the bags in the freezer and every once in awhile I bring out one or two nuggets and get the exact same response, so now I'm feeding something else.

I just started to feed the cats the primal about a month ago. They both loved the frozen turkey formula, but this time I picked them up the pheasant. They both are not that thrilled with this protein, but are kinda forced to eat it because it is too expensive to just throw out. I just try to mix it into their canned food or just let them decide if they want to eat it or not.

I did offer them their dinner tonight, they both seemed to be able to keep it down tonight. I still have know idea as to what caused the upset or who was the up chucker. I can only assume that someone (Simon) ate to fast. He is a gulper so it only stands to reason.

I have not given any probiotic since starting the raw, and unfortunately I don't have any yogurt on hand at the moment. I will look into getting them a probiotic just in case.
