to get her weighed. She is the same weight as she was last week.
I was hoping she had gained even 2 oz. But I guess I need to be patient since it's only been a week. The vet assistant said she thinks Hallie looks a lot better though. So do I but I thought maybe I was just getting used to how she looked. Anyway, I'm a little dissapointed. They told me to bring her back next week.

Think of it this way, at least she didn't loose any wgt. Always have to look at the good.

Holy Crap! Zoey weighs more then Jake and I thought Jake was BIG.

Thanks for the encouragement. I know I have to give her time but you know how it is. I just want her to be healthy and I'm anxious to see progress. BAD Tammie for being impatient!

I have to agree with DTetrev. With the stress of the flight and a new home with new cats, it would have been very for her to lose weight. She didn't, and she's looking better. To me, those are both really good signs!

I know!! It's not like she's fat.. (yet
) she has just grown into a really big girl. She almost looks like a male, that's how big she is. I've already started monitoring her food though. Dont want her to get too big.

I agree that its a good sign that Hallie hasnt LOST any weight.. keep your hopes up!

She's more than double Nakita's weight at approx. the same age! Hope they never get into a wrestling match....major body slamming injuries may occur!

mzjazz2u Don't worry about Hallie, a week is way to soon to get totally relaxed and back into a 'regular' schedule. Too many new sight, sounds, and smells. Give it time, she'll be back on her own schedule.

I think Hallie will be okay - the best you can do is take good care of her and I know that you do, and give her lots of love, which I also know that you do. Mega hugs to you for loving her.

Don't forget with the stress of the move it is a miracle she didn't lose weight so I say you are ahead of the game!

You want to know something funny, my Seal Point Siamese Shane, weighs 20 lb. He's huge, and though he's not slim enough in my opinion, he's not a "fat" cat either. He's just huge.

I'm sure she'll pack on some weight as she adjusts and things calm down.

My boys are so vastly different its funny- Onyx weighs in at 17lbs and Gibbons is teeny next to his 'big brother' at 8 lbs. They are both adults, but so different in size!

LOL Peedoodle used to weigh 22lbs, hes now trimmed down to 17lbs - the exercise that Kahu gave him helped a lot.
