One of my cats has semi dilated pupils day after getting his vaccines. He is slightly sore and tired, which he always gets after, his pupils are dilated and slightly respond getting smaller in light but not fully small, otherwise he is acting normal for the most part. Is this a temporary side effect?

I hope so!   Quite a few cats react more or less on vaccines, being "down under the weather" a couple of days after.

these who answers badly for vaccinations, you do see it.  They are lying down and hardly answering...

I dont want to say too much, not being an expert on this nor a veterinarian, but I myself would hope for the best here.

Good luck!

Cat's will also have dilated pupils when they're nervous or stressed and this could be the effect of having been to the vet etc.  A much bigger worry is if the pupils were of obviously different sizes, one bigger and one smaller.

Both are the same size.
