Amazing!! I love the hare and the cat sculptures. Are they made of cat fur? I might have to have a go myself, there is always plenty of fur lying around my house, he he!

Thankyou and yes that's Eli's fur. It looked like normal wool roving in the craft shop, felt like angora and has just enough fuzz/scales to felt perfectly, so I just used a needle for the hare. Stabbed myself plenty of times XD I learned how to do the flat felt on youtube :3

Im actually allergic but the felting process seems to wash all the irritant dander out.

Hey, fluffy longhair cat owners, let me make stuff out of your spare floof :0

What color is your cat/kitties? Let's have a cat felting thread and see what everyone does with their different fur bubbies in fact :0

I think that's a great idea. don't have a clue how to felt though, would have to look it up. I have a tabby and white longhair and a black semi longhair.

That'd be cool. White is a nice color to have for contrast and you can always dye bits of it any color you want.

I learned how to do it watching a youtube video for the flat felt. The sculptures were trial and error with a felting needle. Bit difficult because you always start off with 6 times as much fur and end up squashing what youre working on in your hand.. But its worth it. I started with a massive fistful of fur and the hare is only just the size of my thumb.
