Okay they look sooo much better! They look like they are cared for now rather than orphaned booger babies! Good job!

Don't panic about the poop, you've only had them like 2 days? It always starts out this way for some reason, likely the lack of milk for a bit dehydrates them enough to keep them from going, but they will.

If, after a third day then I would use the glycerin on them.

Or, as I said prior, you can always add 1 drop (literally just a drop) to the bottle and this will often help within 12 hours or so.

You're doing such a good job caring for them!!

Daft question but have you stimulated them to poop? I know you probably will have, just wondering! You really are doing an amazing job :-)

That's great news. I didn't mean to sound like I was suggesting you didn't know what you was doing. :-) well done and keep up the hard work!

Great job!!!

Believe me, all the hustle you go through now will be just an old hick up in JUST a few more days.... maybe a little over a week, and then they will start interacting with you, and there the fun begins.

There is nothing ore rewarding than seeing them grow and develop independent personalities.

Could you maybe ask someone in your family/friends back in NY to find the mom and trap her? is she could join them, that would save you lots of trouble.

I wouldn't have made it with my fosters without TCS!!!

best best best of luck

I was told this formula is better than the premade stuff. any thoughts?

1 cup whole plain yogurt 10 oz whole goats milk or 8oz condensed goats milk plus 6 oz water 2 egg yolks 1 tsp kayro 1 tsp veg or canola oil

I tried something similar (without the yogurt, and with 2 drops of omega3 and 6) and it was stinky and hard to keep it mixed up. My fosters grew healthy on dry kitty milk (bottle fed) and they did absolutely great.

This formula is certainly  nutritious and fresh but not too practical.

Please send us photos when you can!!

I tend to agree with @djoe  is there any reason to not get kmr?

Sure is alot simpler and ensures kittens everything they need for growth and great health.

Yeah they are doing fine on the KMR so i wont change it.. The person who suggested it is my next dogs breeder, she is generally very knowledgeable and seems to know a decent bit about canine nutrition, she said the premade stuff was hard on their tummies, and when i told her what i was feeding she said "Yuck" and gave me that suggestion

Around about 4 weeks to start on food, to start mash up some wet kitten food and mix with some of the KMR to a sloppy sort of gloop lol. To be honest here the kittens started stealing from mums bowl so I knew when to start. Litter training starts around the same time, my advice have them in a small room that has easy to clean floors - I say this from experience lol, lots of litter trays (but small ones I used small roasting dishes at the start) if they have an accident outside of litter trays put some of it in a litter tray before cleaning up (in the case of wee a piece of tissue soaked in the wee - such a lovely job lol)

Good luck

In my case, I had put my fosters in a box with litter when I first got them, even though I was stimulating their bowel movement. I believe they were about 3-4 weeks old when they started doing it themselves in the litter.  I weaned them very late, because they LOVED being bottle fed and cuddled. it was a headache, and Gebran still suck on my fingers, and cynthia bites my hand in her sleep until now (1 year old). My neighbors kitties starting eating from their mom's bowl at 5 weeks old, and they started using the litter box around the same time.   In both cases, using the litter box came though naturally.
