My cat pikachu has been pregnant for around 3-3 1/2 months. I know the average date is about 9weeks but she still hasnt had her kittens. This is her 3rd litter and shes never taken this long. We think she picked a nesting spot but its in my daughters old crib and we have a baby on the way. does anyone know symptoms. Her vulva looks swollen and she likes to lay on the table in a birthing position but shes been like this for the past month. Babies can still be felt moving we're just worried about how long its been

She can't be pregnant that long without the kittens dying :/. So perhaps she didn't get pregnant when you thought she did. What makes you think she got pregnant 3 1/2 months ago?

If you're concerned, your vet would be the best person to contact. Even if there was a vet on this forum, nobody can do anything without seeing/touching the cat.

Yes, if you are absolutely and really sure she's been pregnant that long it is IMPERATIVE that you contact a vet and go in for an office visit so he can let you know what is going on.  Most likely either you are mistaken and she has been pregnant for less long, she miscarried or had the kittens and ate them without your noticing and is no longer pregnant, or something disastrous has happened and dead kittens are stuck inside her.

I know this isn't a very uplifting post but yes, truly, PLEASE get her to a vet and get her spayed.

It's possible for a cat to be pregnant for up to about 67 days.

My guess, from your first post of saying around 3-3 1/2 months means your calendar isn't marked, and it seems like it's been alot longer than it has been.

She is likely about to have them, at least VERY soon!

Then, why not do her a huge favor and get her spayed?

How is it going?

Different prelabor symptoms are common, but we dont like  long prolonged active labor....     And after the first kitten is born, the next shall not have long active labor at all... MAX 1 hour for the next, but really max perhaps 30 minutes.

But pauses may be OK, as long there is no problems and she is calm and contend.

Good luck!

She gave birth to five kittens we were worried because there was about a 12hr delay in between the first kitten and the others. But she finally did it.
