Hi everyone I just wanted to say hi and that I am very pleased to have found this site.

I would also like to introduce my darling girls, Layla and Madeline (pics later when I figure out how to).

I love my kitties very much and look forward to being able to chat to like-minded peeps about all things catly, but in particular, behaviour and nutrition.

In real life I am a social worker working in child protection.

Thank you for having us!:wavey:

Hi Spider Jones and welcome to TCS!  We're really please you found the site too.

Uploading photos is really quite simple once you get the hang of it.. the picture icon is in the left hand corner of the reply box and you pretty well just follow the instructions.  Looking forward to seeing Layla and Madeline.

You have a really difficult job.. I greatly admire people who work in that field.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Here are my darling girls, Layla and Madeline.

Layla I believe to be a Norwegian Forest; she is complicated and weird but very snuggly. Maddy on the other hand is as sweet as pie and also quite snuggly. Maddy is often called Mouse due to her tiny squeaky meow, but I will save discussion of bizarre nicknames for kitties for another thread.

My all time favourite pic of Layla:

Layla is the reason I found my way here as she was quite sick last year most likely from IBD, but no conclusive tests. After a week at the vet hospital and $1000 I began seriously researching feline nutrition, hence I found this site. I also learned a lot from the website of Lisa Pierson. This is why I am interested to discuss nutrition but I will do some reading and checking out of the various forums here.

I will leave you for now with a picture of my adorable Mouse:

Such cutie pies
Layla has quite the foxy tail.

l'm always happy to hear when people find us after researching appropriate feline nutrition. That's exactly the reason l found this site, and my cats are happier and much healthier for it.

Adorable kitties!  I too came here looking for help with IBD kitties.  You'll find lots of helpful threads about it.

Mouse looks exactly like my Little Miss (Mari)--even down to the regal, front legs crossed pose! Welcome to TCS!
