We have a cat "Professor Maxwell Underfoot" and got him in October 2013 and now is about 3 years old. He was fixed very early.
Last month this started. He won't stop humping things in the bed at night, mostly ME! I gave him a stuffed animal to do it with hoping that would help, but it just is non-stop. He has the blanket in his mouth and he is going at it like a maniac. I try kicking him off the bed. Taking him and laying him down for some petting. Goes right back at it.
The vet said that it could have been something that brought this on. It started right after a cat came outside the window and Max freaked out. The windows are closed now because of the AC. Or it could be a smell on the blanket. I washed it and he got right back to it. Maybe it is the texture? I read that on here too.
Another person said maybe he need extra attention? What to do?????
See, he is a good sweet boy!
