Cat sleeps on top of my pillow

In the past 3 or 4 months my cat has taken to sleeping on top of my pillow right above my head. She never did it before and she doesn't do it to my husband. Does anyone else have this issue  and do you know why she has started doing it? I love her but I move a lot in my sleep and I'm afraid I'm going to hit her or something in my sleep. I've tried to remove her every time I wake up but she still does it.

She likely wants to be near you :) Zoey does this and I don't really mind it. I thrash in my sleep, if your cat gets too annoyed with you moving , she'll move herself away!

One of my previous cats used to sleep on my pillow, I loved listening to him purr and in the winter he kept me warm, not so much fun in  the summer though if it was hot, it was like wearing a fur hat but I couldn't move him, he was happy and that was all I cared about.
