So 4 days ago I lost my sweet boy Yoshi, it was very unexpected..its been the hardest 4 days of my life, I miss him dearly :( my home is not the same since hes been gone..he was only 1 years old but has been with me since he was 6 weeks old.

he also left behind his little sister Bowsey, and she's been really sad..ive been showing her lots of love and comfort but she still countinues to cry and look for him all day long, they truly loved eachother so much..how can I help her deal with the loss of her brother/best friend..
I feel bad enough that I lost my baby Yoshi, and seeing Bowsey so sad makes me feel even worse.

Hi,

I'm so sorry for your loss.  This is such a difficult time.

In time your cat will adjust but there are ways to make it easier for his sister.  Please see the linked articles below on cat bereavement.

You may wish help as well.  Our rainbow bridge forum is a great place to get support, http://www.thecatsite.com/f/19/crossing-the-bridge

And this grief support service of the ASPCA lets you talk privately and for free with a trained pet grief counselor.  They are compassionate people.

For support dealing with the loss of a pet, including information on meeting the emotional needs of children at the time of a pet's death, please call the ASPCA Pet Loss Hotline at (877) GRIEF-10 (1-877-474-3310)

I am glad to help but sorry for the circumstances.  The pain will lessen in time, and will be replaced by many happy memories.
