Hi everyone!

I am soooo thankful for everyone who has helped my cat lose weight! For all the advice! Here's a chart of his weight loss:
1/218.4
1/618.4
1/1318.2
1/2017.8
1/2717.6
2/317.6
2/1117.2
2/1718.2
2/2417
3/317.2
3/1017
3/1716.6
3/2515.6
3/3115.8
4/715.4
4/1415.6
Now I've encountered another problem though. :) He's currently eating Purina One canned food. He eats 1.5 cans each day. 0.5 in the morning, 0.5 at lunchtime, and 0.5 in the evening. I don't know how I should cut now and how to split that up. He's been at an approximate 15.6, steady, in the last month.

Thank you so much in advance! I always appreciate your help.

Just in case you didn't know: My cat is turning 14 years old June 1st!

Congratulations on the weight loss so far. What is target weight you are aiming for? Are the Purine One cans 5.5 oz or 3 oz?

OK, he's currently eating 4.5 oz of food a day? That's actually on the low end, so I am not sure I would go any lower. Do you know how many calories that is? Safe weight loss says 15 calories per pound of ideal weight, so that is 180 calories a day.

Oh, I didn't even know. I'll bring it up. I have no problem. I wouldn't want to hurt him. I actually don't know how many calories they are though.

Look on the can. Sometimes it's listed there. Other times it's available on their website. Sometimes you have to contact the company and ask, but they are required to provide the calorie count.
