Im asking advice upon the cat Sabrina.
Breed: abyssinian
Age: 12 or 13
Behaviour: Aggressive
Indoor cat.
Just seeing what you think it might be. So Sabrina been forever having bad poos or throwing up. It's been going since 2012 and got worst beginning of last year so in 2013. When my boyfriend and I went overseas to see his parents we let her stay at the animates vet cattery. Sabrina had to be put in solitary confinement. For 4 weeks. Cause she is aggressive towards other cats. When we came back she was skinny as. The vet cattery from animates told us she was eating this science diet tin cat food that we provided for her to eat when she stayed at the cattery. They told us she got sick so vomiting and there was abit of dihhera. So they instead gave her dry food. She started to wee every were! So clothes in the bathroom, clothes in the busket and shoes next to the main door. We had to move our shoes. So we took her to the animates vet and the Indian vet lady just gave her antibiotics. Sabrina did have red spots down her back. She just said they were just fleas bites. So that didn't help so we went to Bay Vet at Browns Bay vet. So they test her blood and her stools and they found none thing wrong. At the time we were feeding her highly quality dry food. At that time she was pooing outside her litter box and every were downstairs. Just pure runny poop. My boyfriend's mum found this vet at Ponsonby called Raw Essentials. They are the ones that sell raw frozen food for cats and dogs. The vet lady at Ponsonby called Raw Essenstials her name Dr.Lyn. She told us that she has irritable bowel disease. She said it was caused by my boyfriend's dog Jacky that passed away in 2010. and My boyfriend's mum hardly being here. Cause its his mum's cat not ours. So she gave herbal remedies as well as raw food. It kinda helped but never really made a big impact. She still had runny poop and at times blood in her stools. Weeing on our clothes! So early this year we emailed Dr.Lyn what happened and she replied with maybe the new puppy causing her stress but you guys have done ALOT for her maybe you guys should talk as a family and let Sabrina go. We didn't told My boyfriend's mum this cause she get so UPSET! We still haven't told her and she keeps referring back to Dr.Lyn ways but it clearly doesn't work. So I am thinking well my boyfriend tell his mum so she knows where Dr.Lyn stands. So we thought give it a last go that dr.Lyn suggested to go at the first place but My boyfriend's mum didn't want . Anyway we went to rothsasbay vet the guy called Dr.Tristan cause she developed a runny nose and started sneezing and had a watery left eye.And he told Sabrina has an over active immune system. Some injury on the bowels. So Dr.Tristan gave her Antibiotics and auto immune shot.it stopped the runny nose but not the watery eye. He also pointed out she has acne under her chin. It worked her poos became soild but then it went down hill and back to gross poos. Then we went back and he gave us the same shots for Sabrina. Saying maybe she just have to have immune shot every month. Well she had runny poops and it slowly went to soild poop kinda but just went backwards again! And she threw up on our duvet and it stink so bad and it looked like blood but dry up so its brown and threw up down stairs and it stank in high heavens.So we went to see him again he say well stop feeding her raw rood or chicken mince from new world anddfeed her this dry food it's for super sensitive for stomaches. She ate that and well threw it all up! We told the vet and he was surprised cause its the first time he ever experience an animal to throw that food up. So he suggested feed her plan food of them all chicken mince. He say none thing else cause if we add anything to her deit and she gets bad poop we won't know what caused it. He was very strong about it. So we have done that and back to square one. We told the vet how she is still pooing and he say there is none thing else he can do but to get her stools tested for werid stuff. But that is going to cost couple hunderns dollars. My boyfriend emailed his mum with no reply. I took photos of Sabrina to show my boyfriend's mum but she just sent happy smiling faces. I think she can't accept it but buying her food is getting expensive and we don't have the money to spend that on her. Help! What do we do?
