HELP! Kitten's poop is hard and her anus is bleeding :(

My cat had kittens 2weeks ago and they've all had a hard time thus far but I do have a runt of the litter who has had just one problem after another. Wr've gotten through all of then so far but this one I have no idea what to do.

The mom feeds them and licks them to make them potty especially the runt (I've named her Mellow cause she doesn't cry as much when picked up and for her coloring.) But I picked her up to wipe her down a bit cause the mom gets litter in the kitten box a lot and she was kind of dirty. But when I flipped her belly up I noticed a bit of hard poop sticking out and her anus was swollen and bleeding. I held her so mama could lick her and some did come out but she was bleeding enough for me to now be concerned. Might she be constipated? What can I do? Her poor booty seemes to be so aggitated and she's so tiny mama's sandpaper tongue can't feel good (so sorry if tmi but I'm concerned)

Please seek a vet's care.  Bleeding is highly abnormal and needs a vet. Especially in a kitten so young, bleeding of ANY kind (urine, stool, nasal) should generally be viewed as an emergency. A number of things could be going on.  Hard, dry stool is also not normal and often indicates dehydration which will also need to be dealt with.

Can you take the kitty to the vet? Is he or she acting normally otherwise?

I agree, a visit to your vet, esp if he is used to have small kittens as patients, is wise here.

Re  risk for dehydration - you can in some degree help it yourself, by giving her some few drops now and then with a dropper.  water or home made pedialyte.

HOW to give, best you ask you vet to show you, as you are going to visit him, arent you?

(it isnt that difficult, but dangerous if you dont know how).

Re  to awoid she gets sore by moms extensive licking or if you yourself try to help:  You can  probably use the trick of Catwoman707:  let the kitten rear end in under warmish running water.  with forefinger of the other hand tap on her behind around genitalias...   Be sure there is no draugh, warm in the room, and dry off the kitten afterwards.

These two home remedies said - please, talk with your vet if he is the least decent with small kittens...  as this with vet IS our main advice here, the rest are follow ups..

Thank you, sorry for late response my internet went out for a while. But vet said she 's just so tiny being the runt all her excessive eating to gain weight was making her stool too big for her tiny bottom and it was tearing a bit. Very slight constipation but as long as she's getting something out daily she'll be fine.
