There is no tool there for it. I just did some experimenting, seeing if I could write in colour in a reply box, then cut and paste it to the signature box, but it reverted back to black.
So I would say the answer is no.

thanks for trying. Perhaps the only way would be if we added 26 new "smilys" each one a different letter, then one could construct colored text using gifs. ha Ha.
