Hello!
 Happy Tuesday!

What was the make and colour of your very first car?

Mine was a 1991 Toyota Tercel, red. It was only a couple years younger than me the time I bought it
it was 17 and I was 20. But it lasted a decent while before it died. Worked really hard and saved up during that spring/summer in order to get a vehicle, and it did its duty during my early Uni years, as well as various little roadtrips. I even gave it a name!

Mine was a 1965 powder blue Caliente'  convertible, I bought it with my own money in 1975 and my new husband and I sold it in 1978 to have a down payment for our first house, the first in our 'empire'!

A 1986 GMC Jimmy, it was a 4.3L V6 gas-hog. lt was black, with illegal-black tint all around.

lt was a 4x4 with massive mud and snows on it, and it would get me through any weather conditions. l loved my first car.

A 1982 bright yellow Ford Fiesta. I bought the car from my dad for $500.00 when I went to college. Although, I don't think I had all the money at the time and dad didn't seem to mind. :D Loved that little thing. I miss having a stick shift manual car. It was a thrill to drive. A few tickets along the way too. :slant:

My very first car was a 1970 Chevy Nova....a really disgusting shade of brown with an even more disgusting brown interior. No name....I didn't start naming my cars until I got Nellie....my 1974 rusty-red Nova hatchback (that was after the brown Nova).

Mine was a white 1989 Nissan Stanza. It was 10 when I got it. I think we paid $1500 for it. Had only a few thousand miles on it. An elderly lady owned it and only drove it to the grocery store and church. She never used the radio, so the speakers had dry rotted. But it was a good little car. Had many more features than my current 2001 Civic. It wasn't cute but it was good car. I sold it to my sister for $800 when I joined the Air Force after high school.

1985 Pontiac Grand Am. It was pale gold and worn out, but it got me to and fro!

My first car was a 1981 Buick Century and it was older than me!  It stalled if you drove over a puddle and had almost no paint left on it.  My Mom and I eventually had to replace the fabric on the interior roof because the old stuff was coming down and would blow sandy grit around and into my eyes while I was driving.  I wore contacts back then too.  That really hurt!  I drove that for 2 years before my parents agreed to split the cost of another used car and the Buick went to my step-brother.  He killed it by running all the oil out of it.
I was just happy to have a car back then especially considering I didn't work.  I got to run my step-brother to work every day.  I took my step-sister to friend's houses.  Gas was cheap too.  I guess it was worth it for them to have me driving.  My step-brother chipped in for gas too since most of my driving was actually taking him to work.  We lived only a few miles from school and my friends usually picked me up when we went gallivanting.

My very first car was a Chevy Nova, it was blue and I loved it.  Don't remember what year it was since it was a lifetime ago.  No power steering or any other power in it.

I still have my first car. Well, MY first car---before that I drove my parents' old Ford Taurus.

It's a seafoam green (OK, the factory color is called teal. IMO, teal is a dark bright blue-green color, right? This car is the same color as the Crayola color called seafoam green---a light bluish-green) 1999 Honda Civic. I got it in 2002. It had 50-something thousand miles at the time. Now it has 276,000 :D. Still going strong. I've never had a bit of trouble with it---always starts, even on cold mornings, very few repairs needed, etc. I do want to get an all-wheel-drive vehicle next, I think a Subaru Forester. I think I'll keep the Civic, though; since it's paid off it would only cost insurance and registration (and garage space).

I have memories involving a Chevy Nova.  I'm pretty sure my Dad still has it too.  It was my ex-step-mother's car when they married and may very well have been her first car too.  I always had to sit in the middle in the back so my step-brothers would behave.

A 1969 Datsun Bluebird.  Like @Winchester's first cat, it was a really yucky brown, inside and out.

I did my driving test in it in 1972.  It belonged to my Mother and I got it when she upgraded.

Like my first cat? OK, my first cat was named Fluffy and she was a grey tabby with white paws.
 I had to say that!

You know, I saw that, and thought I'd corrected it!  I guess it's a word that just never looks out of place here.

I learned how to drive in a Nova!

My first car was a gray Pontiac T1000 hatchback that my friends and I called "baby car". :lol3: I still have the bill of sale around. Let me go digging for what year it was. 1984!
