My male cat Mylo is about a year old and he gets chronic bladder crystals and has been put on hills prescription diet for urinary tract health and I was wondering if anyone knew of an alternative food for him that's cheaper and still hast all the same benifits because it's costing mme about 5 almost 6 dollars a day

One of my kitties is also on c/d.  Unless yours eats an awful lot of food, you may just be getting charged too much.  My vet charges about $37.00 for a 24 pack of 5.5 ounce cans, plus you can almost always get a coupon on the HIll's website for $7.00 off.

If your vet is charging too much, perhaps ask him or her for a prescription that you can send in to an online pet store.  Chewy.com has c/d cans for about $38.00 for a 24 pack, or if you feed dry they have the 8.5 pound bag for about $33.00 (a larger size is also available).  They also have free shipping.  Unfortunately as far as I know there isn't a way to use the coupons with an online store.

At roughly $1.25 (with coupon) to $1.58 (without coupon) per can, it's less expensive than a lot of the other foods out there (which he isn't allowed to eat anyway).

Thank you, I kind of figured that there wasn't another option but I figured I would ask. My vet charges 44 bucks a case

There is also Royal Canin Urinary S/O which may be more economical. You should be able to get this through your vet, or depending on where you are, PetSmart carries Royal Canin in the states.

This is what are looking for : http://www.petsmart.com/food-health...-200027?var_id=36-1744&_t=pfm=recently_viewed

Purina also has a urinary tract formula that comes in a 3 ounce size. This is what you are looking for :
