Hey all!

You can call me Mae and I'm here for my unnamed 1 year old black cat. Unnamed, because I intended to call him Snowball (irony!) but my family disagreed. I join this site as a teenager, trusting that it's PG rated; how can cats be mature content anyway ( ^▽^)

I always have questions on cat care, especially after losing my beloved outdoor cat as a younger child. (Which led to my strong opposition to outdoor cats, but that shall be in another thread) Instead of researching questions, I assume being part of a cat owners community will help considerably.

I guess an about me kind of thing: I listen to rock and synth pop, am interested in law, and in my spare time I like to do art, crafting, and gaming. And of course, I live for cats 

Anyways, that's all!

Welcome to our cat community.  There is a wealth of information here on all topics related to cats and kittens.  Some members have filled out their information to show their location, which you will see in their posts, and others have not.  Because it is an international community, there is usually someone awake somewhere who might be able to answer any question you may have fairly quickly.  I'm glad your black Snowball will be an inside kitty and be safe.  We look forward to seeing pictures of him.

Hi Blacksnowball.  I understand entirely.  I have a b & w cat named 'Brightspot' and his totally black brother, named 'Shadow',  But Shadow has a few random white hairs on his chest.  Sometimes I call him 'Blackspot' in honor of those hairs......
