with the warm weather coming up, I went out and got a Gerber daisy. These, I know are non-toxic, but I'd rather Matt didn't eat them, as they're not really meant for cats. I'm thinking or making him a cat veggie garden in a litter pan, with some cat nip and wheat grass, etc.

Any suggestions for this idea of mine? I'm not really sure how to put it into practice...what might be good to grow for him, and how best to grow it etc.

My grandmother's cats used to absolutely love her herb garden and were particularly enamored by the rosemary and the mints that she'd grow. This page has perhaps the most useful list as far as herbs go that I've been able to find. Granted, just because it's safe doesn't necessarily mean he's going to enjoy it, so I would maybe plant a few different things in smaller separate containers, and then transfer the ones he reacts well to into a single larger one and just keep the others for your own use.

Thanks for that link, it'll be very helpful when I go to the garden center now that I've printed it :)

I'm glad to see Spider plants on the list of safe plants, because I like those too :)
