That's not funny. Not at all.  I think the Weather Channel said that it's snowing out in Pittsburgh right now.

Yup, snowing near Toronto, as well.   And major accidents on highways, again. Its either because the salt trucks are not out, yet, or that people are not reducing their usual speeds.  Be careful everyone.

Ugh is all I can say. Not looking forward to going out in that later on. At least I don't have to drive today.

Saturday we were 85 degrees (got a lot of yard work done), then Sunday our high was 35 and then we got 1/4 inch of rain followed by 4 inches of snow! What a difference a day makes, but that's Nebraska for you! Nice thing, Easter weekend is in the 70's.

Out my kitchen window

I have to say, that you did tell me it was going to snow @catlover19   and I just could not believe it.

Also these photos are very pretty, but maybe just not very welcome for April 15, 2014.   What is Mother Nature thinking?....Is She all mixed up?  Did she just have some leftover snow that she could not save till next year?

Do you think this will be the last snow storm, then? Can I put my boots away?

:lol3: You sound like me. I refused to wear my heavy snow pants today, and defiantly put them away for the season instead. So there Mother Nature! Fortunately, it wasn't all that cold out and the snow will probably melt away soon. On the plus side, it's hiding all the garbage strewn over our neighbour's lawn.

I think Mother Nature wanted to see those pants, one more time before the next season.

Hiding the Garbage.....lol.....
I am hoping  your neighbour's going to go out there now, and clean it up.

what is the lowest temperature, on average, down there  @peaches08?  I watched the "Houstons:On our Own"....story about Whitney Houston's family, and the scenery was really nice and warm.  Hot, is what it looked like at times.

I sure hope it's the last snow storm. It's mostly melted already, even though it is -3 out. I don't think it's pretty, I really do not like snow. Aimee really wanted to go out and play in her new sand box today, but it was almost buried by the snow.

Does Aimee not like snow, either?  Minus 3 is too cold to go out, though.  Better to play inside with toys and just watch snow from window.

Oh....@Natalie_ca    sorry for hi-jacking your thread.. and posting all over it.....I figure as a fellow canadian, you would know that on "snow days" all we do is sit inside and talk.  Still hoping your temperatures warm up quickly, too.

She loves snow. I could have taken her out to play in it, but she would have run right for the sand box and would have been disappointed that she couldn't go in it.

OMG!!!!!!

Environment Canada has issued snow and rain warnings for southwest Manitoba north of the Trans-Canada Highway and the Interlake.

That's me!!

Right now it's freezing rain, and gusting winds so strong that my windows are rattling. I've had to crank up the heat because it's freezing cold!!!!!!!

And it's supposed to snow on Sunday!

Holy cow!!
  Think warm!!
Yeah, I am with @betsygee.....only WARM thoughts are allowed from now on.

Think positive, warm sunny beaches  or warm summer breezes.  I don't think they have a "No Snow" Dance for Sunday....but if they do, I will send it your way......@Natalie_ca.   Here it goes...

Haha!  So your post got me curious and I had to look online for "no snow" rituals--guess what, I found some!

There are these rituals kids are said to perform is they want a snow day. Some are simple like wearing your pajamas inside out and placing a spoon under your pillow. Another is rather involved and requires you to flush ice down the toilet.

So I figure if we do the opposite of all these things maybe we can make sure there isn’t a snow day tomorrow. Parents of America I implore you, join me in performing the following ritual:

Wear your pajamas right side out, sleep with a fork under your pillow, and walk around your kitchen table 10 times while chanting, “School day! School day!” Then flush boiling hot water down the toilet, turn to your left six times, flush more hot water and turn to your right six times.

That should do it. Are you with me?

Hey, it can't hurt to try!!

I am so with you @betsygee   You went that extra mile to help a cat-friend out, and maybe even make her weekend......snowless.

Of course, I will perform these duties, but I think it will have to be tonight, before going to bed..
..lol....

(the fork sounds kind of dangerous, though....I will use caution.....or plastic.)....LOL

What a great idea, you came up with....No way is that snow, gonna chance it now....
.lol.
