stink bugs

hi i have 3 cats and recently moved into an apartment and had alot of stink bugs above my kitchen tilesthere is a gap in between floors and thats were bomb will go_Once in awhile i will see a stink bug around my house. i need to get some kind of bug bomb and want to make sure it will not harm them or myself once we return home? does anyone know what kind of pest bomb that i can buy? Also where to get it at? spring is coming and i want to bomb asap.i will also be replacing the kitchen tiles i will b putting. thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully help me.

Pesticides are a last resort. I'm not sure how bad the problem is, but if they're in between the baseboards and flooring (where there is a gap), maybe try vacuuming around the perimeter. I've seen others mention that the bugs don't like bounty dryer sheets. Chemicals might be required if there are too many but a few should be easy enough to get rid of.

This was in the news this past week and might help:
Virginia Tech Researchers Find The Best Way to Catch Stink Bugs
"This is just a turkey pan that you purchase from your grocery store. Add a half a gallon of water and some Dawn dish detergent. Then, shine a desk lamp on the pan of water. The cost of this trap is around 7 dollars versus the other light traps that are as much as thirty to fifty dollars," says Aigner.

His research involved placing the pan of dish water with the light shining on it in a dark room for twelve hours at a time from 7:00 at night until 7:00 in the morning.
