Little scratcher

Hello. I have a 8 week kitten named cleopatra. I've had cats before but not as wild as this little girl. We play a lot with Cleo. Pay attention to her. She's my light after losing both of girls so close together. However. She scratches me all the time. My arms and legs a mess. She's always climbing on me sometimes when my legs are exposed yikes. I know she's young but my other girls. Didn't do this. How to I deal with my little sweetheart

I'm not a big fan of the spray bottle to curb unwanted behaviors.

We use a can of air, the type you clean/dust out computer keyboards and other little spaces. I do NOT ever spray it directly at a cat! I spray it up in the air when they are misbehaving and the noise distracts them.  And, I only use it when they are being particularly naughty...like pawing or chewing at a cord plugged into the wall. Any deterrent you do use, if you are constantly using it all the time, will lose it's effectiveness. Save it for when it's really a situation you need control over.

I did reply to your other thread, with ideas to help lessen the scratching.  Being a kitten (and a very young one at that), you aren't going to be able to eliminate it completely. But with good habits now, she will grow out of it.
