Thursdays Question of the Day 4.10.14

Morning all!

Today, my parents flew out to China for their 2 week cruise. I'd love to take a cruise around China and Japan!

My question is, where would you like to travel to? And why?

I want to go to Paris with my husband. We've both been there but not at the same time.   

I'd like to go anywhere. We still haven't had a honeymoon. We keep planning on it every year for our anniversary but it hasn't happened yet. First year I got laid off, second year we both got laid off, third year I was pregnant, fourth year we didn't have the money and our fifth is coming up in 3 months and I am pregnant again so it won't be happening.

Where: Venice! Italy!

Why: cause I think should be a really different place and with wonderful views.. ( Plus I love the Italyan food too! ..)

My dream trip is to tour the ancient ruins around Italy and Greece in particular!  I find the ancient architecture just fascinating!  I'd loooove to visit Pompeii!

My hubby and I would love to take a trip to Norway/Sweden. He has family in Norway and I in Sweden. It is definitely in our plans..... when.... who knows. But, it will be incredible to go. Probably will take 2 - 3 weeks and I never like to be away from my cats for more than five days at a time. So - that will be a hard one.

I love to travel!  I've been some really cool places, but some I haven't been to yet:  England/UK, Spain, Israel, Japan, South Africa...I'm sure if I sit down long enough I can fill up a page.

Ireland and/or Scotland. I've wanted to visit Ireland since I was a little girl. Rick wanted to take me for our 25th wedding anniversary, but there's this thing I have about airplanes, you know. 

I'd like to spend some time in England, Germany, France, and Italy. But I really, really want to backpack through Spain on the El Camino de Santiago, starting at the border with France and walking the whole route over the course of a summer.

Somewhere that is completely out of the way.

It's pretty boring as I come from Australia, but I would love to do a cruise a friend of mine just did on a very small boat (30 people) up the far north west coast of Australia.  It is so untouched and beautiful and I've never been to the west..

That, or a small art tour through India.  I've traveled a lot, and often off the beaten track, but I'd really prefer to do a really well organised, small trip with like-minded people now.

I'm getting old...
