I will definitely post pics... Kitten dust your way and fingers crossed.. My Abella has been around my dog and other cat since we for dinner her at 3 weeks old. My dog (pitbull) actually mommies her and protected her as a babies... But Abella doesn't like to be bothered by either one of them right now... I just try to do everything to make this the experience as call. In and easy for her as possible...
Kitten dust your way as well!!

Hi again :) Glad she is still doing well!

As a heads up, usually it is best to isolate the queen when she is giving birth and for at least a few days afterward.  This cuts down on her stress and ensures the safety of the kittens, and is almost always a good idea no matter how close your pets are.

Please continue to keep us updated!

Thank you so much... It's funny, because I made a nursery for her... I have a huge closet that we don't use... It's nice and warm in there... She has birthing box and a clean wicker basket for after babies are born.. She also has food water litter box... Extra supplies for during labor and after... It's so cute and roomy for her.. I plan on closing it off to everyone but me and my hubby during birth and after.... But I'm wondering if she starts to show these signs of Labor again, should I just put her in there and close it off and just check on her...

I feel like I'm losing my mind... All I do is think of Abella when I'm not home, when I am home I'm constantly checking on her and watching her every move.. So here we are today.. Her nipple look swollen and full... I tried to see if I could squeeze milk, but only got a dry white stuff then a clear liquid?? Her belly is definitely low.. Low.. Low.. But still full on sides.. So I'm wondering if she is going to have quite the litter... Babies still moving but not as noticeable as before... She is still super affectionate at night.. Last night she kept waking me up by licking my face obsessively... She seems uncomfortable... She walks around for a little then lays down and repeat.. Over and over.. I did notice tonight this new twitch she's having in her back and tail.. Not sure what that is but it's aa new thing... She is still eating but very little frequently... She is nesting and has been for a couple of weeks... She seems unsure of where she wants to be so we set up 4 different birthing spots for her... My husband is even getting anxious... So wewill play the waiting game and any advice or experiences would be great... Thanks

about 3 degrees Fahrenheit lower than in the behind (or in the handbooks for cat temp),  or about 1 grade Celsius, perhaps a shade more..

so it will be somewhat about 98-99 F or a trifle over 37C...  there about.       As the normal temp,  so to speak.  measured under the foreleg armpit.

Best is to have taken measures before, so you know what her normal temp is...   And thus, you clearly notice changes.

Good luck!

Question w/ picture.... OK so Abella has been passind mucus... She passed a little bit of this over 2 weeks ago and then about a week ago one night she passed some mucus a few time throughout the night and then again tonight I noticed it and wiped her to get a picture.. I'm not sure if this is part of a mucus plug and I'm just being over observant or what... Any advice or suggestions please

Ash did the same thing for a week yesterday she lost a lot then had her kittens this morning! Hopefully it's almost time for you! The wait is worth it when the sweet little kittens are born

Definitely mucus plug... She just jumped on my bed and I notice something very long g hanging out of her... Went and wiped. Her and it was long, stringy, clear with a slight pink color. No questions asked I know this was her mucus plug! So how far do we have now?

Thank you so much and congrats to you also! At 8:03 Bella had her last kitten which was number 6...she was so strong and her and babies a few doing so good. I still cannot bbelieve how well she did... She pushed maybe twice foe each baby and didn't make a noise. She got right up and took care of them, except #6 she was really exhausted by then and just needed a little guidance... Once she was near the babies she took right over... So proud!
