Hannah is in the garage being repaired. I get emails with two pictures of her every morning from our insurance company. The first two pictures on Monday showed her all taken apart....no grill, no bumper, no front quarter panel. Poor Hannah. Yesterday, the pictures show where she has the quarter panel back on. She's at the detailing stage right now. I should get her back on Thursday or Friday.
On Sunday, I went out to wash Clarence. Tried to start the Cruiser to pull him into the back yard and it just clicked. I haven't driven him much over the winter; once the snow was on the ground, I stopped. And the battery couldn't take it. I checked the terminals and they were fine. Rick brought me into work Monday and Tuesday. And last night, I jumped the Cruiser, using Rick's truck, and got it down to the garage for a new battery. Got him back home, started him up this morning and..... it looks like he needs new windshield wipers.
I guess I'd be OK, as long as it didn't rain, but I think it's supposed to rain on Thursday. Off to the store tonight for new wipers. That boy is costing me a small fortune. New clutch. New tires. New battery. He just had an oil change and some new belts put on. Now wipers.
I'm not really complaining; it's all maintenance stuff and it all needs to be done. But geez......
OTOH, I drove him into work this morning. And he just rocks. I love driving stick-shift.
I love my car.
