Pretty normal for cats to sleep after surgery, they are given some potent painkillers. How is his appetite?
But if he is still sleeping a lot today (Wednesday), I'd call the vet.

He's probably sleeping off the effects of the anesthesia and the pain killers.  If he's not better by tomorrow, I'd call the vet.

It might be a good idea to have the vet check him, but the odds are good he's just adjusting to the difference in hormones. How old is he?

I agree with mrblanche; I think it is time for a follow up visit with the vet.
Good luck. And prayers, vibes.
