Spring fever? I've definitely needed a lot of coffee lately, but I think it's due to switching to daylight saving time a little over a week ago and having a lot of tests to mark.

I feel that way most days. When my daughter wakes up, I am going to take her outside to play. I'm hoping that will help me wake up a bit.

Most mornings it takes me a little bit to get going; coffee or not!  Yesterday it rained ALL day long.  I had to make a Dunkin run after the grocery store!

It's still super gloomy today but not raining; it isn't so bad.

5-hour Energy! It really works. . .OK, I actually get Eternal Energy at Walmart because it's cheaper :lol3:. I don't know what ingredient does it but it really works to pep me up. I try not to have one too often, in case I get used to it so it doesn't work anymore. I just have one on days that I'm really dragging and coffee doesn't work.

I'm with @betsygee  on this one,.....I need a coffee IV everyday, too.
Preferably instant nescafe, so no drip coffee, but then have to switch to decaf after 6pm....or awake till 2am.

Going back to drinking green tea, and then herbal green tea....still has caffeine, but not supposed to be as much.

I blame the rainy weather now, but in winter I blame the snow, in summer the heat.....the list goes on.
Strangely, I have never blamed the coffee.
( Must switch to more water and lemon, I think).

Totally !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hyper: This is so odd that you started this thread today. Because, everyone who has seen me has asked - "You alright". NO :lol3: I feel like a SLUG too. I don't like it, not one bit. Feeling a bit down too. Yep - coffee sounds like a good pick-me-up for today. Glad to know I am not the only one feeling it today. ;) :hugs:

Whew. Still sluggish today, but a little bit better. I think it may have been my allergies yesterday.

I am feeling more energetic today. More like myself but still not there. Can't put my finger on it. The weather is going to be absolutely gorgeous this weekend and I am hoping my spirits and energy level is back to normal!!!! :) I did overdose on coffee at Bunco today, though. It was quite obvious to the ladies that Lauren was on a bit of a high from it. :lol3: :lol2:

lol....is it like a double espresso?...lol

I wonder if there are places I can try the keurig first, then buy it?   Probably, not a good idea though, since should be cutting back..lol.

But I do need my "eyes open fast"..

I first tried the Keurig in a hospital waiting area. I never had a double expresso so I can't make that comparison. I love my Keurig. If you really want to try one, check E-bay.

All of this talk of coffee makes me want another! I love my Keurig and all of the variety k-cups they have to offer. Even hot chocolate! SO - on that note - another cup won't hurt. Feeling SO much better today and that cup of coffee always makes it even better. What would we do without it???!!!

Lauren, I bought a box of the dark hot chocolate, which is more chocolate-y than the regular. The woman in at the coffee shop gave me a bit of a tip, which I'm going to pass on. When you run water through your K-cup of chocolate, you are supposed to run a cup of water through the Keurig afterward to clean the needles from the chocolate.

Well, she told me to simply open the top of the chocolate K-cup and pour the contents of the K-cup directly into your mug. And then run the water through the system directly into your mug without using the K-cup. You don't have to then run extra water through the system to clean out the needles. I've been using this method and it does work well, but I keep stirring my chocolate a bit as the water runs into the mug. And I'm saving water in the long run.
