Hi, I'm posting for a friend.

She has a five week old kitten that seems to be blind.

He is a single.

He seems to be a helath bouncy little kitten that wants to play:) But relies on listening to where mom is and your voice or the sounds of your movements.

I've read that kittens can't see well for a little while after their eyes open after birth. But shouldn;'t he be able to see now?
His pupils seem to change with light

Yes, at 5 weeks he should have great eye sight.

The reason it's difficult to test is because you need to show something that will not make any sound at all when moved or held up, as they already have fine tuned their hearing to help compensate, as well as the air changes, etc.

What works really great is a laser light.

Kitten can also have limited vision, or the capacity to see light from dark, which blind cats from birth commonly can still see. Their pupils will change but are unable to see otherwise.

Kittens do just fine blind.

As long as things aren't moved around much!!
