When I had found this precious kitty he was at deaths door,I scooped him up and took him to the vet emediately and his eyes were in bad shape, and I couldn't believe the amount of people that had told me I should have him put down because there was a chance that he was going to lose his eyes.he was estimated to be 28 day's old and he weighd 12oz, I was having to feed him with a syringe every 4 hours and I had tried my best to save his eyes but I had to eventually have them removed.he is now 6 months old and when I had him nueterd on march,27th he weighed 8lbs 7oz  he has ajusted real well not to have eye sight.he does everything my other cat's do.alot of people told me I was stupid for all the money I had spent on him with the vet bill's,but to me he was worth every penny and I would do it again.

Good for you and Survivor!!  Blind kitties are wonderful kitties and make excellent pets.  Have you ever heard of Oskar the Blind Kitty?  He's got his own FB page and is an internet sensation.

I have a blind from birth cat named jenny who's happy as a clam! She's not as famous as Oskar but she does have a Facebook page too. You can say hello to her at www.facebook.com/jennytheblindcat

Congrats on your adoption and saving your great cat. Anyone who advocates euthanize go a blind animal just because they're blind is ignorant.

There's also Blind Cat Rescue.  They have a website, webcam, and a FB page.  I love blind kitties and love that they lead such normal lives.

I was so amazed of how well Survivor has done,he is spoiled rotten and he reminds me of my dog when it comes to begging for your food when you are eating,he tries his best to get it from me.and sometimes he wins, I give in to him depending on what I'm eating.I have 2 other cats that I rescued also one is 9yrs old named precious and the other one is 5yrs old named lucky.precious and survivor take turns on cleaning each other.and survivor just loves playing with my pekingese snickers.I had also took in 2 birds that needed a home and when my amazon parrot gets on the floor walking around survivor just walks right along with him like they are the best of friends.survivor loves the fresh air so I take him outside sometimes but I put a leash on him because I don't want to take a chance of him getting startled and take off running and get away from me,because sudden noises scare him.I've had to cover my furniture to keep it from being torn up because the way he gets up and down is climbing.
