My squeaky long haired indoor cat has not be acting like himself for the last couple of days, just laying around, he was eating yesterday but this morning I found where he had thrown up and it had blood in it, plus he did not come in kitchen to get morning treat. I had to work this morning so husband watching him and will take as soon as vet opens at noon... Any idea what it could be?

Vomit with blood in it is not normally related to urinary blockage (I say this because THIS thread was originally attached to a urinary blockage thread).  Has your cat shown other symptoms of urinary blockage, such as going in and out of the box with nothing happening, or cloudy or pinkish urine or even crying out while in the box?

As far as what it COULD mean, it could be a lot of different things, but it makes a difference if it was just a few specks of blood, or a lot of it or just what.  Hopefully your husband has taken him in to the Vet by now
