What are you feeding your ferals?

Right now we're feeding the large cans from Tractor Supply, Paws and Claws brand, as well as the Dad's brand dry food they sell there.

The Dad's is a similar type to Purina or Friskies, but it is made only with ingredients sourced in the USA - so no Chinese melamine contamination risk.  Our own cats love the Dad's brand and tear open the bags as soon as they come in the door if we let them get at them.

Then they turn they're noses up at their Blue and 4 Health that they're supposed to eat...  

My friend calls the stuff "kitty crack"

We'd love to feed them all a high quality or raw diet, but we are feeding so many now it's just impossible,

Have any of you found foods you like better that are affordable?

I feed Trader Joe's canned food and a mixture of dry food as well. I sometimes feed Friskies, but prefer the Trader Joe's brand.

We find that our feral kittens like Friskies but only 3 types----and all are the fillet type--1.Qcean whitefish and Tuna

 2.Chicken and Tuna 3.Chicken dinner and gravy-------their preferences change from time to time between these 3.

We also feed them the Mio 9 pouches from time to time----Chicken and Tuna and Tuna and shrimp but,these are almost impossible to get.

We give them a small quantity of Blue Wilderness Kitten dry food at each meal.

I am using the Mio 9 pouches from time to time too.  I find them at Big Lots.  My cats love the chicken and tuna.

Wow, I wish we had a Trader Joe's near us, The nearest one is 200 miles away. Great store! I am GREEN with envy...

We used to feed Friskies - all the cats love the stuff. But we got concerned about where they source their ingredients from - does anyone know?

I've never tried the Mio 9 pouches, although I've seen them. Do your cats seem to like them?
